IntraFind has equipped its enterprise search software iFinder with another GenAI tool. In addition to iAssistant, which enables chat with company data, IntraFind now also offers iHub. With it, users can carry out everyday tasks they are familiar with from Internet chatbots such as ChatGPT or Perplexity AI in a secure environment.

The iHub enables companies to implement common use cases of generative AI within their own IT infrastructure – in compliance with all security and compliance guidelines and without the need for costly in-house development. Employees can use the tool to compose emails, improve and translate texts, summarize long attachments, generate ideas for concepts or analyze images.

The tool comes with numerous apps with predefined micro-applications. These range from an email generator, a web chat and a translator to meeting, HR and note-taking assistants. With these apps, users no longer need to enter prompts but simply fill in predefined fields to obtain the desired result – for example, the recipient, subject, key points and required tone for generating an email. Power users can also create their own micro-apps tailored to their company.

Companies are free to choose which LLMs they use at iHub. Depending on their individual requirements, they can use on-premises or cloud language models. It is also possible to combine several models. All available and approved LLMs can be stored and then easily selected individually for each use case via a menu.

The iHub is already IntraFind's second GenAI tool. With the iAssistant, the company has been offering a secure solution for chatting with organization-specific data for some time now. Unlike the iHub, where the user chats directly with the LLM, the iAssistant uses language models solely to generate responses within the framework of a RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) architecture. The tool retrieves the content for this using search technologies from company data, which is automatically checked for access rights.

Like iAssistant, iHub is an add-on to the enterprise search software iFinder but can also be used as a stand-alone product. iHub is free of charge for companies that already use iFinder or iAssistant.
